What Are Maintenance Checks? Why Should You Care?

What Are Maintenance Checks?

At Rogers Mobile Lube and Tire, we prioritize the longevity and optimal performance of your vehicles through our maintenance check service. Maintenance checks or check-ups are strategically scheduled midway between your routine oil change services. While our customers appreciate the convenience and efficiency of our 15,000-mile or annual oil change services, it is imperative that we keep an eye on the other systems in your vehicle. Most customers have us schedule these check-ups at the halfway point of their oil change (7,500 miles or 6 months), but some like them completed more often.

Maintenance checks are a fundamental aspect of our service offering. When we perform a maintenance check we are inspecting crucial elements such as fluid levels, especially the difficult to reach ones that require tools, tire pressure, brake integrity, filters, belts, batteries, and conduct a thorough visual examination to detect issues before they escalate into more costly problems.

Preventative maintenance is crucial to keeping your vehicles in top shape. Here are some examples we’ve seen when maintenance gets ignored.

  • Engine damage due to low oil
  • Metal-on-metal grinding of brakes, requiring otherwise unnecessary rotor replacement.
  • Excessive tire tread wear.
  • Leaks.
  • Clogged filters.
  • Missing bolts.
  • Missing lug nuts.
  • Damaged or flat spare tires.

These checkups are extremely important for fleet vehicles subjected to high annual mileage, and drivers whose thoughts are on doing their job, not always on the health of your vehicle.

At Rogers Mobile Lube and Tire LLC, we are committed to treating you like we would want to be treated and this is one way we do that.
